The Darkside Detective
Where darkness dwells and evil rents at extortionate rates.
The Darkside Detective is a multi-award winning comedy point-and-click adventure game, following Detective Francis McQueen as he tries to rights the wrongs of Twin Lakes city. Oh, so many wrongs.
The game follows in the footsteps of classic 80s and 90s games but includes a number of innovations to update it for a modern audience. The most notable of these is the structure which follows a monster-of-the-week format presenting the player with a series of smaller stories rather than one longer one, making it perfect for time-poor players.
Season 1 launched with 6 cases on July 27th 2017. 3 new cases were added between then and July 27th 2018, the final case wrapping Season 1 and setting up the premise for the next instalment in the series.
The Darkside Detective can be purchased from the following stores:
The second game in the series was successfully kickstarted on 12th October 2018:
A Fumble in the Dark, is published by Akupara Games and released on April 15th, 2021. It brings 6 more cases, all much longer than their S1 counterparts and expands the world of The Darkside Detective.

Eldritch House is a first-person narrative adventure that blends the supernatural and detective genres. Interrogate, examine and explore as you Investigate the disappearance of a young woman and the strange otherworldly occurrences at the remote hotel, Blake Manor. Can you unearth its secrets?
The year is 1897. The 20th century looms on the horizon. An age of science and reason has begun casting out the old ways across Europe, but superstition and tradition hold strong in the West of Ireland. Fear of the supernatural is still common.
You play Detective Ward as he investigates the disappearances of socialite Evelyn Deane from the remote hotel known as Blake Manor.
Explore the building while remaining incognito. Discover key locations and unravel what happened there. Look for clues, interview the staff and guests to find out what secrets they’re hiding, or cross-reference the facts to discover contradictions in their stories.
Craft skeleton keys and solve environmental puzzles to reach forbidden areas of the hotel grounds, above and below, but be warned – these old walls have seen centuries of tragedy and now, on the eve of Halloween, these spirits once more stalk the halls. Some are friendly and will help you, others are malignant and deadly. Can you lay the former to rest and banish the latter?
Uncover what happened to the girl and why. Then piece it all together in time to stop an even greater tragedy from happening, one that could result in the gruesome deaths of everyone staying at the hotel…
Rich supernatural mystery inspired by Irish mythology.
A fully voiced cast of suspects.
An ancient manor full of dark secrets and environmental puzzles.
The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever.

Sunken Spectre is a deep-sea adventure game that takes place in and around the Mediterranean Sea in the 1970s.
Players take on the role of Jac Moore, captain of a small deep-sea recovery vessel. After turning her back on a life of crime, Jac purchased an old scuttled boat called The Spectre which she repaired to make seaworthy again.
Jac gathered a rag-tag crew, they formed their own diving operation and now dive for clients all over the globe. For the right price, the crew of the Spectre will retrieve whatever you need from the bottom of the ocean (regardless of the legalities involved…)
No job is too far, too deep, or too dangerous.
